The service
OpenEats provides a platform that connects diners with restaurants. Through OpenEats, you can:
- Make, view, and manage restaurant reservations
- Browse restaurant menus and location information
- Create and manage a user account
Restaurant owners and staff can use OpenEats to manage their locations, menus, reservations, tables, and team memberships.
Confirm account
To access certain features, you need to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Manage reservation
- Reservations are subject to availability and may require restaurant confirmation.
- You must provide accurate contact information so the restaurant can reach you about your booking.
- Cancellation policies are set by each restaurant and may vary. Check the details when booking.
- Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on your ability to make future reservations.
Restaurant
If you use OpenEats to manage a restaurant, you are responsible for:
- The accuracy of your menu, pricing, and location information
- Honoring confirmed reservations and communicating changes to guests
- Handling customer personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws
- Managing team member access and permissions for your locations
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems
- Interfere with the operation of the platform or other users' experience
Limitation of liability
OpenEats is a platform that facilitates connections between diners and restaurants. We are not a party to the dining experience itself.
- We do not guarantee restaurant availability, food quality, or service.
- The platform is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
